Thanks so much for your wonderful compliment ...!! Making a sculpture is very time consuming with the chiseling, carving and sanding.. I am doing less sculpture work now, especially after having a whiplash injury- which has caused neck and shoulder problems.

Yes, Desertphreak- the Journey IS the Journey!. There are so many other things out there that are not so time-consuming and physically taxing. Photoshop for instance. But anybody can do Photoshop....and not everyone can do stone sculptures.

@ desertphreak -Thanks so much for your comments! I am glad that I took photos of the process, since many people are not aware of the progression steps involved. Yes, I did a lot of "hacking away" of the stone.

The "15 lb." was the weight of the stone when I bought it (it's in photo #1). Thanks for taking the interest to look at these photos.
